Other Projects

Beyond clinical practice, I am actively engaged in research, aiming to deepen our collective understanding of how best to support LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as advancing public discourse around death and dying. Recognising that current research on bereavement support for LGBTQ+ people is mostly focused on monogamous same-sex couples, and hoping to encompass a more diverse range of relationships, I initiated a project to explore LGBTQ+ individuals' access to bereavement support following significant losses. I am also a dissertation supervisor at the UCL Clinical Mental Health Sciences MSc, and a Visiting Research Fellow at Goldsmiths.

My published masters dissertation explores the journeys of sexual assault survivors, and my doctoral thesis focuses on the psychological experiences of Hong Kong people during the 2019 Anti-Extradition Bill Movement and their coping strategies.

Through the Valued Voices Mentoring Scheme, I am delighted to have the opportunity to mentor aspiring Clinical Psychologists who are racialised.

It is always lovely to hear from like-minded people who care about similar issues, so please do feel free to reach out if you are working on any relevant projects and would like a chat.
